Tokina Ultra-Wide 17mm F3.5 Manual Lens for Canon FD Mount Cameras.
The Tokina's classic manual-focus ultrawide lens. It came in mounts for Nikon, Canon FD, Olympus OM, and probably everything else.
This lens is very sharp. Even today, Its sharpness is better than many newer and more expensive lenses.
It's as sharp as many Nikkors, with much less lateral color fringing.
This lens has performance similar to the manual focus Nikon 15mm f/3.5 , 18mm f/3.5 and 20mm f/3.5 AI lenses. I’d prefer this lens to the $2,000 Nikkor 15mm f/3.5 AI-s since this Tokina has better ghost resistance and takes real filters.
This Tokina 17mm produces great, eye-popping ultra-wide images without any typical wide angle lenses, like heave vignetting and barrel distortion.
The lens in extremely solid build, all metal.
The lens is slightly faster than typical F4.0 wide angle lenses.
This lens can be easily adapted with any modern mirrorless cameras.
