NIKON F5 is the camera that all modern pro and semi-pro Nikons are descended from, whether they're film or digital. The button-and-dial control layout started here, and it's amazingly seamless to switch between the F5 and a digital body – maybe too easy.

The F5 is powered by eight AA batteries. Using it with smaller AF-D lenses isn't as dramatic but is equally effective. Contemporary AF-S and VR lenses are fully compatible with the F5 as well. As a matter of fact, practically ALL Nikon lenses are compatible with F5

Due to age the camera has some small cosmetic imperfections, but optically and mechanically it is in perfect shape!
